June 2019 found us in Brazil on a birding trip organized by Lisa and Giuliano of BIRDING PANTANAL We requested a private tour with guide and they met all of our needs: excellent guide – Rene Santos, accommodation, meals, vehicles and synchronized travel. These folks know bird guiding and touring in Brazil and we can truly say there wasn’t a hitch in their planning or our experience. The tour took us to various altitudes to find birds that live in various habits (REGUA, Parc Itatiaia, Ubatuba and the Pantanal). We are a Canadian couple, dedicated to birding, who arrived in Brazil with a species of count 960 that increased to 1300!!!
